- All boats requesting launch service must hail via VHF
radio on channel 68, excluding trawl line boats who
may hail via whistle.
- Cell phones are not encouraged.
- Non-members are not entitled to launch service unless
accompanied by a member.

Use of the Marina 
Transient Moorings
|
- The Club maintains 5 transient moorings which accommodate yachts up to 40'
LOA. Members wishing to moor their own yacht for a limited period of time may do
so at no charge for no more than 7 days per season. Guests of members and visiting yachtsmen
with vessels will be assessed $40 per day for launch service and use of Club facilities (excluding
the tennis courts, which are not available to visiting yachtsman).

Hoist
|
- The Club hoist is available for launching and hauling of members boats. Members
using the hoist do so at their own risk.
- Use of the hoist for launching or hauling of yachts weighing in excess of 1,500
pounds is strictly prohibited.
- Members unfamiliar with operating procedures must ask the Club Manager or
launch operator for assistance. While boat is suspended on hoist, do not board,
leave unattended or stand or work underneath.

Marina
|
- The marina, including the hoist and the launching ramp, is reserved for
the use of members and their guests.
- Members must be present when their
guests use the marina facilities.
- Members wishing to lease slips or trawl line space may place their name on
a waiting list by registering with the Club Manager. The waiting list is
maintained in the Club Office and will be furnished upon request.
- No yacht may be placed on a trawl line unless a current City of Gloucester
Mooring Permit sticker is affixed to her stem in accordance with Gloucester
Harbormaster regulations.
- The marina floats, slips and trawls are available for use from on or about
May 20th to on or about October 15th.
- A current list and description of all yachts occupying slips and trawls is
maintained by the Club Manager. Members must notify the Chairman of the
Waterfront Committee and obtain approval prior to making a change of yachts.
- Members are requested to notify the Club Manager if yachts in slips or on
trawls are to be left unattended for extended periods.
- Members may neither loan nor lease their slips or trawl line space.
- The Annisquam Yacht Club assumes no responsibility for bailing, maintaining
or otherwise supervising boats in slips or on trawl lines, nor for securing
or righting capsized or swamped boats. Although Club staff members may
volunteer to assist in the event of an emergency, it is the responsibility of
each boat owner to monitor, maintain and protect his or her boat and
equipment.
- The outboard marina float and the Club front float are reserved for loading
and unloading of passengers and gear. Members using these floats may not
leave their yachts unattended.
- Neither yachts nor trailers in excess of 24' LOA are permitted in the
Marina.
- Parking of automobiles and trailers in the Marina is prohibited unless
authorized by the Club Manager.
- Except under the direct supervision of the Junior/Senior Programs,
swimming from the marina or floats is not permitted.
