- One-Day Series:
- Scoring for each One-Day Series is according to the Low Point System (RRS, Appendix A).
- One race is required to constitute a One-Day Series.
- No race scores will be excluded. There is no throw out race.
- Season Championship:
- Scoring for the Season Championship is as defined herein.
- One One-Day Series is required to constitute the Season Championship.
- Scoring is based on a skipper's finishing places in the final standings of each One-Day Series.
- All member skippers appearing in the final standings of one or more One-Day Series are competitors in the Season Championship. Guest skippers are not eligible.
- For the purpose of scoring the Season Championship, a member skipper that does not appear in the final standings of a particular One-Day Series shall be scored for that series based on a finishing place of one more than the number of competitors in the Season Championship.
- For the purpose of scoring the Season Championship, the final standings of each One-Day Series shall be adjusted for any guest skippers. Guest skippers shall be removed from the One-Day Series standings, and the finishing places of all boats finishing below them shall be moved up accordingly.
- When fewer than five One-Day Series have been completed for the Laser class or the Sturdee Cat class, a skipper's score shall be the total of his/her finishing places in the final standings of each One-Day Series. When fewer than four One-Day Series have been completed for the 420 class, or the Optimist Pram class, a skipper’s score shall be the total of his/her finishing places in the final standings of each One-Day Series.

When four or more One-Day Series have been completed for the 420 class, or the Optimist Pram class, a skipper’s score shall be the total of his/her finishing places in the final standings of each One-Day Series excluding his/her worst finishing place.
- Ties
- If there is a Season Championship score tie between two or more boats, each boat's finishing places in the final standings of each One-Day Series shall be listed in order of best to worst, and at the first point(s) where there is a difference the tie shall be broken in favor of the boat(s) with the best score(s). No excluded scores shall be used.
- If a tie remains between two or more boats, they shall be ranked in order of their scores in the last race. Any remaining ties shall be broken by using the tied boats' scores in the next-to-last race and so on until all ties are broken. These scores shall be used even if some of them are excluded.
- 420 Crew Season Championship:
- The scoring for the 420 Crew Season Championship is based on the crew's finishing places in the final standings of each One-Day Series and is otherwise identical to the scoring for the Season Championship in Section 5.3.
- PRIZES
- For each One-Day Series, prizes will be awarded for each class to the top three member skippers and to any guest skipper finishing in the top three provided that there are at least five boats racing. If there are fewer than five boats competing prizes will be awarded for each class to the top two skippers.
