NOTICE OF RACE
RULES
This event will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009-2012 (RRS).
ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
The regatta is open to all boats of the Optimist, 420, Sturdee Cat, and Annisquam Fish class. There will be two divisions of the Optimist fleet: Green and Championship. Optis will declare their division at registration. All boats may enter by completing a registration form, accessible on the website, and returning it to the Race Office by noon on the day of the event. There is no entry fee.
SCHEDULE
10:30-12:00 Registration at the AYC clubhouse
11:00-12:30 Chowder
12:00 Skippers’ meetings, 420s and Optis
13:30 Warning Signal
16:00 or post-race Award Ceremony
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing Instructions will be available at registration.
SCORING
The Low Point Scoring System will be used. One race will constitute a regatta. If more than 5 races are sailed, a boat’s worst score will be discarded.
PRIZES
First and second prizes will be awarded in classes comprising four or more finishers. First, second, and third prizes will be awarded in classes comprising seven or more finishers.

Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The Annisquam Yacht Club will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
