If you have any difficulty making a tennis reservation online, please call the Club office at 978-283-4507 and someone will be happy to assist you.
Court time, including tournament play, is by reservation only which may be made with the online system or with the Club office not more than 72 hours in advance.
Weekdays: All courts are reserved Monday–Friday for the AYC Junior Programs and/or Ladies Tennis (when in season) from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No exceptions to these time restrictions can be accommodated while these programs are in season. Members age 18 and older have priority over other players with the exception of AYC Junior Program and Ladies Tennis, should conflicts arise.
- Weekends & Holidays: On weekend and holiday mornings sign-ups will be for ninety- minute blocks beginning at 8:00am. The weekend/holiday morning time blocks are:
Beginning at 12:30pm, members may sign up for any ninety-minute block throughout the rest of the day, starting on the hour or half hour.
Please note that the 2020 Rules and Regulations were produced with a normal season in mind, and therefore the hours and activities below are subject to any changes outlined in the 2020 Tennis Safety Guidelines.
- Conditions permitting, and at the discretion of the Waterfront Manager, the courts are open daily from 8:00am to thirty minutes before sunset.

Please welcome back for his 5th year at AYC Tennis Pro John Tracy
John is a graduate of Triton Regional High School and attended Division 1 Northeastern University where he excelled as the school’s number 1 singles player. John is a highly sought out teaching professional and enjoys getting to know his players and improving their games. He has been coaching and training players for 20 years. He is currently a professional at The Racquet Club of Newburyport, Woburn and is also the boys tennis Coach at Ipswich High School. He fielded an outstanding junior team in 2014 and went to South Carolina for the National USTA Junior Championships. John has remained very active as a player and has continued his high level and successful playing career-winning tournaments such as the ABC Tournament, Loon Mountain, Haverhill Open, Yankee Homecoming, and the Lago Bowl many times over the past years. John is an outstanding all around teacher of both singles and doubles strategy and technique. He incorporates fun and learning into all level players while still providing a sound basis of skills.
